Napoleon is Sydney's Jrs dog. She decided that she wanted her very own, not one of my extras, dog to do Jrs with and also show in breed. We went through several breeds trying to decide when we saw a post from Napoleon's breeder, Kara Chizmar, who was looking for Jrs homes for her puppies.
So 2 days and 1200 miles later, I brought home an adorable wiry pup. He was a mess and kept us on our toes at all times but is extremely outgoing and fun. I couldn't have asked for a better dog for Sydney. He is not only gorgeous but has the charisma to wow the judges as well.
Napoleon made his debut at ASFA coursing Feb 2010. He was the only open Ibizan so in order for him to get a placement he had to go Best of Breed. Although he was very inexperienced, he did indeed win BOB on Saturday. So now he has 1 First Place and 32pts towards his Field Championship. Not bad for his first time out. |
